Imran Khan accused of poisoning his house arrest wife

Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has alleged that his wife Bushra Bibi was poisoned in captivity.

In the Toshakhana case, Imran Khan alleged that Bushra was poisoned while imprisoned in her private residence. Later, the Government of Pakistan issued directives to convert the residence into a sub-jail. Bushra is still imprisoned there.

Imran Khan said that his wife’s skin and tongue still have traces of the side effects of the poison. Addressing Justice Nasir Javed Rana, Imran said, “If there is any harm to my wife, Pakistan Army Chief (General Asim Munir) and his forces should be held responsible for it.” Because they were controlling everything.

Incidentally, on January 31, Pakistan’s special anti-corruption review court sentenced Imran and Bushra to 14 years in prison in the Toshakhana case. The Islamabad High Court stayed the execution of the sentence on Monday. A special hearing was held on Tuesday in the special court of Adiala Jail.
