India also carried out assassinations in Pakistan, claim intelligence

After Canada, now Indian intelligence has carried out assassinations on Pakistani soil. The intelligence agencies of both countries claimed the explosives.

According to the report, Indian and Pakistani intelligence officials said that the Indian government has carried out about 20 assassinations in Pakistan after 2020 under the pretext of eliminating “terrorists” on foreign soil.

The Guardian said it published this report based on interviews with intelligence officers from the two countries and documents provided by Pakistani intelligence. According to the report, it is clear from the interviews of the intelligence officers and the documents provided by them, that after 2019, Indian intelligence agencies started assassinations on foreign soil on the pretext of national security.

According to reports, the Research and Analysis Wing is among the Indian intelligence agencies carrying out assassination missions abroad. The organization is controlled directly from the office of Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India.

According to the report, there are already allegations that Delhi is implementing a policy of targeting people perceived to be hostile to India. New allegations by Pakistani intelligence have added a new dimension to it.

Recently, Washington and Ottawa have publicly accused India of involvement in the killing of dissidents, including a Sikh leader, in Canada and the attempted assassination of another Sikh leader in the United States.

According to a report by The Guardian, new allegations of assassinations have surfaced against India, saying that since 2020, unidentified gunmen have carried out nearly 20 killings in Pakistan. Although India has been linked to such killings in the past, this is the first time Indian intelligence officials have opened up about the alleged operation in Pakistan. The detailed documents also alleged that the Indian intelligence agency Raw was directly involved in the killings.

In January this year, Pakistan accused India of murdering two of its citizens. The country’s foreign ministry claimed that there was “credible evidence” of the murder. In a statement, the then foreign secretary of Pakistan, Muhammad Siraj Qazi, said that two Pakistanis named Qazi Shahid Latif and Muhammad Riaz were shot dead in separate incidents last year. Indian agents are involved in this. However, Delhi rejected such allegations of Islamabad.

Riyaz was killed in a mosque in Rawalakot in Pakistan-administered Kashmir during prayers in September last year. And in October, Latif was killed outside a mosque in Sialkot, Punjab.

In this context, the Foreign Secretary of Pakistan also said that both the murders are similar to the incidents in Canada and the United States. Indian agents were recently accused of involvement in a murder in Canada and an attempted murder in the US last year. India, however, has denied all allegations by Pakistan.

Earlier last year, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau publicly blamed Indian intelligence agencies for the death of Canadian Sikh separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Since then, tensions between the two countries have risen significantly. Hardeep Singh has long been active in the demand for a separate Sikh state in India. For this the Indian authorities charged him as a most wanted terrorist.

And last November, the US Department of Justice indicted Indian agents for plotting to kill a Sikh separatist leader on US soil.
