68 Myanmar border guards fled to Bangladesh

Fierce conflict is going on inside Myanmar. 68 members of Myanmar’s Border Guard Police (BGP) have taken refuge in Bangladesh to avoid loss of life in this incident.

From Tuesday morning to 12 midnight, these members of BGP escaped through some points of Naikshyongchari border and entered Bangladesh.

According to BGB sources, 2 people entered through Rejupara border and 10 people through Jamchari border on Tuesday morning. Then in the afternoon, 1 more person came through the Baishfandari border. Around 4:30 pm, 5 more people entered through the Jamchari border. And at last around 11 pm another 50 people entered through border pillars 44 and 45. BGP and army personnel are among these 68 people.

However, it is not possible to say how many members of any force. BGB has taken them into custody after depositing weapons from them. They have now been taken to 11 BGB custody at Naikshyongchari headquarters.
