7 newborns died in fire at Delhi's children's hospital

7 newborns died in a terrible fire at a children’s hospital in Delhi, the capital of India. The incident took place at a child protection center in East Delhi’s Vivek Vihar area on Saturday night. News from NDTV.

According to reports, the fire service received a call from a child protection center in East Delhi’s Vivek Vihar area around 11:32 pm on Saturday. It is not yet known how the fire started in the hospital. But the fire quickly spread to different wards. 8 fire engines went to the spot. They brought the hospital fire under control after trying for some time.

At that time, fire service workers rescued 12 children from that hospital. 6 people died in the night. Doctors put one on ventilation support. His condition was critical. He also died on Sunday morning. Five more children are still under treatment.

Earlier on Saturday, at least 20 people died in a fire in a gaming zone in Gujarat. Among them were 9 children. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has already expressed grief over the incident. Meanwhile, a fire incident took place at Delhi’s Children’s Hospital on Saturday night.
