Before the campaign, Shehbaz Sharif will organize an all-party meeting to understand and decide what to do with the political parties. PTI founder Imran Khan said to attend the meeting.

Since 2002, various Pakistani governments have conducted more than a dozen military operations against various Islamic armed groups.

Pakistan conducted a special military operation from 2017 to 2022 called ‘Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad’.

Now Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s government is talking about a new military campaign, which has been named ‘Azam-e-Istehkam’. The common meaning of this word in Urdu is stability The country’s authorities have not confirmed how long this military campaign has lasted.

The jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan stood against it before the start of the military operation. Last week, Imran said that he was against military operations in the North-West and South-West regions However, Imran said that he will participate in the Shehbaz Sharif government’s all-party meeting about this campaign.

“My party will participate in the all-party conference and listen to what the government has to say,” Imran told reporters from Adiala jail.

The PTI founder warned that anti-terror measures would further destabilize the country.
