The UK Minister for Urban Affairs is Tulip Siddique

Tulip Siddique, daughter of Sheikh Rehana, the granddaughter of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the younger sister of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, has become the Minister of Urban Affairs of the United Kingdom.

According to the report of the media BBC, the new British Prime Minister Kier Starmer began the work of forming the cabinet after returning from Buckingham Palace on July 5. Several names have already been announced. Labor MP Angela Rayner was appointed Deputy Prime Minister. In that sequence, the elected MP Tulip from the Hampstead and Highgate seat of the United Kingdom was made the city minister.

Tulip’s party, the Labor Party, defeated the Conservative Party, which has been in power for 14 years, by a huge margin in the recently concluded UK elections. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s granddaughter Tulip Siddique won the election for the fourth consecutive time. He fought for the Labor Party from London’s Hampstead and Highgate constituency.

After winning, Tulip Siddique said, ‘Congratulations to everyone. I was elected for the fourth time with your prayers. Bangladeshi community always support me. I am very thankful to them that they have supported me this time too.
