Akhilesh Yadav warned Indian government on Bangladesh issue

Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav has criticized the Indian government’s foreign policy in the situation that arose after the fall of Sheikh Hasina’s government in Bangladesh. This influential politician of India said that if one formulates a political plan in his own country taking into account what is happening in other countries, then that country weakens itself.

At a time when Indian media Sailab and the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are vocal about the attacks on minorities in Bangladesh, Akhilesh advised India not to divide itself over the situation in other countries.

In a post on his official X (former Twitter) account, Akhilesh wrote, ‘History testifies that there have been popular uprisings, military coups, anti-government movements in various countries for various reasons, it may be right or wrong. Only those countries can overcome such a situation, which are successful in protecting people’s lives and property even in difficult times.

Akhilesh, the son of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, wrote, ‘History also teaches us that the government of a country that tries to use political strategy in its own country by taking into account the political situation of another country, on the other hand, weakens the country internally and internationally. .’

Akhilesh also condemned India’s ‘silent foreign policy’ on Bangladesh issue in the post made on X, ‘When a country is in the role of a silent spectator in such a situation, it means that it is a failure of that country’s foreign policy. From the geopolitical point of view, it is a big mistake of foreign policy.

It should be noted that Sheikh Hasina is now staying in India after the fall of the government in the popular uprising of students. India’s opposition parties are also uneasy about giving shelter to the former prime minister who resigned from Bangladesh.
