Popular evangelist and analyst Dr. Zakir Naik arrived in Pakistan on Monday on a month-long visit. During this time, he will participate in several seminars in major cities of the country including Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore.
This is Zakir Naik’s first visit to Pakistan in three decades. The last time he returned to India in 1992 religious scholar Dr. Lahore. Israr met Ahmed.
The missionary is currently staying in Malaysia due to legal complications in his home country India.
Zakir Naik was welcomed by officials of the country’s religious affairs ministry and prime minister’s aide Rana Mashhood when he arrived at Islamabad International Airport in Pakistan.
He is scheduled to address a public meeting from Karachi on October 5. The preacher will speak in Lahore on October 12 and Islamabad on October 19.
Apart from public events, he is expected to meet senior government officials and attend various public relations events, as his visit is expected to last till October 28.
Dr. Naik is visiting Pakistan at the invitation of the government and will be given tight security during his month-long stay.
