Sri Lanka Embassy in Lebanon Begins Registration for Citizens Seeking to Leave Amid Security Concerns

The Sri Lanka Embassy in Lebanon says that the registration of people who are expecting to return for Sri Lanka will start from today.

The embassy informed all Sri Lankans in Lebanon to register with the embassy if they are concerned with the situation and want to return back to Sri Lanka.

Sri Lankan Embassy in Lebanon will remain open today for this purpose.

It is mandatory to carry documents including foreign passport and visa to conduct the registration process.

A written consent letter from their employer is required for the registration process.

The embassy instructed Sri Lankans in Lebanon to be cautious about the advance notices regarding air strikes.
