A passenger bus fell into a ditch after a tire burst in Pakistan, killing 28

At least 28 people were killed when a passenger bus overturned and fell into a ditch in Pakistan’s Balochistan province. Among the dead are women and children. 22 more people were injured in this incident. The incident took place in Washuk district of Balochistan province on Wednesday morning.

Rescue officials said the casualty occurred after the bus overturned and fell into a ditch due to a burst tire while traveling. The bus was going from Gwadar to Quetta.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed grief over the tragic accident and prayed for the souls of the victims to rest in peace. At the same time, he also instructed the concerned authorities to provide assistance to the injured.

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti expressed grief over the loss of life in the horrific accident and prayed for the injured.

Earlier this May, 13 members of the same family were killed and nine others injured when a truck fell into a ditch in Punjab’s Khushab district in a similar accident. The accident occurred due to brake failure on Panj Pir Manwan Road in Khushab.

Also this month, 20 people lost their lives after a passenger bus fell off a narrow mountain road into a ravine while traveling in a remote area of ​​Diamer district in Gilgit Baltistan.
