After the cancellation of the UGC-NET entrance test for research and college-university teachers in India, there have been allegations of corruption in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NET) for the medical entrance test.
In a press conference on Thursday, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that the government will not compromise on the future of students. He also said that if corruption is proven, the guilty will be punished. No one will be exempted under any circumstances.
Sources said that the initial investigation has revealed major corruption. In such circumstances, the authorities said that investigation will be conducted against those who have prepared the question papers and those who conducted the examination.
