Allegations of violation of international agreements against Bangladesh and Pakistan
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has accused Bangladesh and Pakistan of violating international agreements.
Bangladesh is owed 323 million dollars by IATA airlines. The agency, which has called for payment of the debt, says that curtailing air connectivity could affect economic growth, foreign investment and exports.
On the other hand, IATA has made the same complaint against Pakistan. The country is owed $399 million by the airline.
IATA released this information in a statement on April 24.
