The world’s largest mango garden or Ambanis! 600 acres Ambanis sugarcane garden in Gujarat. Where there are one and a half million local and foreign mango trees. As part of the Ambani family’s specialty when it comes to food, they have their own mango orchard, Mukesh Ambani’s favorite fruit. The Ambagan was named ‘Dhirubhai Ambani’ after Mukesh Ambani’s father, the founder of Reliance Industries, Dhirubhai Ambani.

The mango grown in Mukesh Ambani’s garden is one of the best varieties in the world. There are more than 200 varieties of mango trees in Lakhibagh Amrai Garden. There you will find amrapali, neelam, ratna, alphonso saffron, Indus native varieties as well as foreign varieties of mangoes; Such as – Flodiller, Tommy Atkins Kent, Kate, Lily of Israel, Maya of the United States.

Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries has now become India’s largest mango exporter. Mango cultivation in this garden is completely different. Mukesh Ambani’s wife Nita Ambani is in charge of the garden.

Reliance Industries Limited has a network of businesses across India in energy, petrochemicals, textiles, natural resources, retail and telecommunications; But now Reliance is also set to become one of the world’s leading mango exporters.

Reliance Mango is very popular in Indian market. Ambanis’ mangoes are tagged ‘RIL’ in the market. Apart from mango, guava, tamarind, cashew, Brazilian cherry, peach, pomegranate and some medicinal plants are also cultivated in this garden. Jamnagar Farms Pvt Ltd has been formed to market mangoes on behalf of Reliance.

It is said that Reliance did Ambagan not out of pleasure but out of compulsion. In fact Reliance has a refinery at Jamnagar in Gujarat. It is one of the largest refineries in the world. The pollution control board has sent notices to this company several times to prevent pollution. As a result, under pressure, Reliance is thinking of making profit by using the waste of the refinery besides protecting the environment.

Plantation of mango trees on barren land near Jamnagar Refinery started. Although the land is not suitable for mango cultivation, it is made suitable for use with the help of various technologies. Currently, the mangoes produced in this garden are exported to many countries of the world. Reliance has introduced the technology used in its orchards to farmers and distributes around one lakh trees to farmers every year.

The garden water comes from the Reliance Company plant. The sea water is treated in a special way in the plant. Demand for mangoes grown in Ambani’s orchards is highest among NRI Gujaratis.

It is heard that Mukesh Ambani’s garden has no match in the whole world. Ambanis have the largest mango orchard in the world. Others say that it is the largest mango garden in Asia. However, no reliable evidence has been found for any of the claims. Although not the largest in the world, the mango orchard is neither small nor medium.
