Attack on multiple security bases in Pakistan, 3 killed
At least three security personnel were killed in a series of terrorist attacks on several security bases in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Many others were injured in this incident.
According to a report by the media Dawn, Pakistan’s security forces conducted operations there based on the information that militants were entering Pakistan from Afghanistan through Rajgal Valley.
It is reported that the militant group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Gul Bahadur group formed an alliance for the first time and launched an attack in Khyber province from their controlled areas of Bannu, Lakki Marwat and Karak.
Pakistan’s ISPR said in a statement that four militants were killed against three security personnel.
The Gul Bahadur group has already claimed responsibility for the attack. However, their claims have not yet been verified.
Pakistan’s prime minister applauded the security forces for repelling the attack. At this time, he also paid tribute to the victims of the attack.
