Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal announced his resignation

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced his resignation. He announced this after coming out on bail after six months from prison.

At a party meeting in Delhi, Kejriwal said, “After two days, I will resign from the post of Chief Minister. I will not sit in that chair until the people have pronounced their verdict. Elections in Delhi are just a few months away. I got justice from legal court, now I want justice from people’s court. I will sit in the chief minister’s chair only if the people want it.

He said, I want to ask the people of Delhi, is Kejriwal innocent or guilty? Vote for me if I am working. A meeting of AAP MLAs will be held in the next two days to elect the new Chief Minister of Delhi.

Announcing early elections this time, Kejriwal also claimed that Delhi elections scheduled for February, along with Maharashtra elections will be held in November.

Kejriwal said, despite being arrested to save democracy, he did not resign from the post of Chief Minister. They filed cases against (Karnataka Chief Minister) Siddaramaiah, (Kerala Chief Minister) Pinarayi Vijayan, (Bengal Chief Minister) Mamata Didi (Banerjee).

I would like to appeal to all non-BJP Chief Ministers, don’t resign if they file a case against you. This is their new game. They developed a new formula – wherever they lost, they formed their government by jailing the Chief Minister.
