Donald Lu will visit Bangladesh
US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia Donald Lu is coming to Dhaka. His visit will be on September 16.
On Tuesday, the Office of the Spokesperson of the US State Department announced this information in a notification.
According to the notification, US high-level delegation including Luc will discuss on how to help Bangladesh in economic growth, financial stability and development.
It is also said that Donald Lu will meet with the interim government of Bangladesh. He will join a delegation. The delegation will include representatives from the US Department of the Treasury, USAID and the Office of the US Trade Representative.
US and Bangladeshi officials will discuss how the US can support Bangladesh’s economic growth, financial stability and development needs, the spokesman’s office said in a statement.
Donald Lew’s visit will be between September 10 and 16, the statement said, the Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia will visit India and Bangladesh during this period.
Earlier, Donald Lu had visited Dhaka with a US delegation last May.
