Doubt about Delhi's record temperature! Investigation started to find out

The life and nature of Delhi is burning in the intense heat. Gasps in public life. The country’s Meteorological Office has said that the current temperature has exceeded all records in history. Mungeshpur recorded a temperature of 52.9 degrees Celsius.

The temperature was recorded on Wednesday (May 29) at the Automated Meteorological Center in Mungeshpur, northwest Delhi, Indian media reported. The maximum temperature in Mungeshpur was 52.9 degrees.

In this direction, the meteorological department of the country has been shaken after this. They are checking whether the temperature measuring sensor of Mungeshpur weather station is working properly or not.

In this regard, DG Mrityunjay Mohapatra of the Meteorological Department said that there are a total of 20 weather stations in Delhi. In 14 of them the temperature has decreased. Average temperature was between 46-50 degrees in all the loins.

He said that the temperature measurement of the center in Mungeshpur needs to be fixed and checked. An investigation team has also been sent there for this. I assume that the temperature in Mungeshpur may be higher due to some local reasons.

Meanwhile, the country’s Geology Minister Kiren Rijiju said, nothing can be said officially right now. However, Delhi’s temperature of 52.3 degrees is somewhat unusual. Meteorological department officials have been asked to look into the matter.

On the other hand, explaining the cause of the all-time high temperature, Kuldeep Srivastava, regional head of the Meteorological Department, told PTI that the hot air from Rajasthan hit the outskirts of the city first. Areas like Mungeshpur, Narela and Najafgarh were the first to feel the full force of this hot air.

Despite the record heat on Wednesday afternoon, some relief returned to Delhi due to rain in the afternoon. There has been moderate rain for quite some time. Later the temperature drops quite a bit.

All schools have been ordered to extend summer vacation till June 30 to spare children from the scorching heat of Delhi. Doctors are mainly advising the elderly and children to be careful in heat wave situations. They insist on staying at home as much as possible in the afternoon.
