Electric car maker Tesla owner Elon Musk has postponed his scheduled visit to India. He announced the postponement of the visit as Tesla was busy with various works.
He said that he is likely to visit India by the end of this year.
Elon Musk was scheduled to visit India on Sunday, two days after polling for Lok Sabha elections began in India.
On April 10, the news agency Reuters published the news of Elon Musk’s plan to visit India. Then Musk wrote in a post on X, “Looking forward to a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”
But at the last minute, Musk posted on social media X announcing the postponement of the tour.
He wrote, “Unfortunately, the visit to India has to be postponed due to a lot of work at Tesla. But I want to go to India by the end of this year.
Musk was scheduled to visit India at a time when the Lok Sabha elections are underway in India. There is an impression that Narendra Modi is going to become the Prime Minister for the third term through this election. Modi wants to focus on the election to highlight the progress he has made in fulfilling his promise to make India a global manufacturing hub.
