The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has opened Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the development and operation of three luxury hotels in Hulhumale’s integrated tourism zone, Urban Isle.
According to HDC, the hotels will offer high-end accommodations and services to tourists visiting the Maldives.
As per the announcement, the project will give priority to proposals based on a land lease model. However, the EOIs can be submitted for other models as well. If multiple bids are received, the project will be awarded to the proposal that offers the best business model and demonstrates strong operator experience.
Those interested in developing and operating the hotels must submit their EOIs via email by 2:00 pm on October 29.
