Nishikant Dubey said, ‘Violence was spreading. Because Mamata Banerjee’s police in Bengal and people from Malda and Murshidabad are coming and driving our people away. And village after village of Hindus is becoming empty. This is important. I’m willing to resign if I get one word wrong. People from Bengal, people from Malda and Murshidabad are oppressing Hindus. And Jharkhand police is not able to do any work.

The BJP MP claimed that in 2000, when Jharkhand was separated from Bihar, the tribal population in Santal Pargana was 36 percent. Now the tribal population has come down to 26 percent.
