If Congress comes, women from poor families will be given 1 lakh: Rahul Gandhi

Lok Sabha polls in India are just a few days away. Before that, vote promises are coming from various political leaders and ministers of the country.

While campaigning in Rajasthan, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi gave an account of what his party is going to do if it comes to power.

Congress recently released its manifesto. There is also a mention of the scheme of giving 1 lakh per poor family.

In that context, Rahul Gandhi said from the Congress meeting in Anupgarh, Rajasthan, that if the Congress government comes to power, it will transfer 1 lakh rupees to each female member of the family below the poverty line in her bank account. And this money will be given till the family rises above the poverty line.

Rahul’s claim, in this way, “poverty will be removed from the country in a shock.” Rahul spoke by highlighting all the vote promises in the Congress manifesto.

Rahul said that in every poor family in India, a woman in the Congress party government will give 1 lakh rupees in a bank account every year. If you are poor, whether you are a laborer or farmer, or work in a small factory, if you belong to a poor family, then the government will give a woman in your family 8500 taka per month, 1 lakh taka per year in a bank account.

Rahul said in Hindi, ‘8500 khatakht khatakht khatakht ata rahega.. Aur ek jhatkese Hindustanse garibi ko mita denge.’
