Imprisoned Imran Khan is ready for talks

Imran Khan, former prime minister of Pakistan and founder of Tehreek-e-Insaf, said, “I am ready for talks but not for any agreement and I have been saying this for the last 18 months.”

Imran Khan told reporters in Adiala Jail that discussions are part of politics, which are with the opposition. However, his party is willing to negotiate with all but three parties.

Imran Khan said, only those who want to leave the country or avoid imprisonment do the deal.

He named Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Omar Ayub and Leader of the Opposition in the Senate Shibli Faraj for discussion.

The jailed leader said, I have proposed the names of these three people for discussion, not for any agreement.

Meanwhile, PTI’s current chairman Barrister Gahar Ali Khan said that the former prime minister is a victim of a political case. He also said that Imran Khan has requested for a speedy verdict in his case.
