Imprisoned former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has alleged that his wife Bushra Bibi was fed toilet cleaner mixed with food. He said that his wife got sick after eating the food mixed with toilet cleaner. He got stomach infection due to that food.
This information was reported in the report of the Pakistan-based media The Express Tribune on Saturday.
Earlier, Imran had warned Pakistan army chief Asim Munir from jail. After getting the news of his wife’s arrest, Imran said that if anything happens to his wife, he will not let anyone go. Accused in multiple cases, Imran is currently imprisoned in Pakistan’s Adiala Jail.
Meanwhile, Imran’s wife Bushra, accused in a corruption case and a case related to illegal marriage, is currently under house arrest in her house in the suburban Banigala area adjacent to Islamabad.
Imran said that Shawkat Khanum Hospital official Asim Yusuf recommended Bushra’s physical examination at a hospital in Islamabad. But the jail authorities were adamant about keeping Bushra at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences for physical examination.
During the hearing, the judge advised Imran not to talk too much to reporters while in jail. In response, Imran said that he talks more to journalists because if he doesn’t, his speech gets misinterpreted. Imran asked for permission to speak to the media for at least 10 minutes.
Earlier, after receiving the news of his wife’s arrest, Imran said, “Army Chief Asim Munir is directly involved in the arrest of my wife.” If anything happens to my wife, I will not leave Asim Munir. As long as I live I will not leave Asim Munir. I will expose all the unconstitutional and illegal steps he has taken.
