Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has challenged the Punjab government’s decision to file a serious case in the Lahore High Court (LHC).
He filed this petition on Wednesday through Latif Khosa. Where Punjab Government, IG, Ministry of Home Affairs and others have been made respondents.
The PTI founder is currently lodged in Adiala jail in various cases, the Punjab government has sanctioned serious cases against Imran Khan and other leaders, the petition said.
This action of the Punjab Cabinet is against Article 10 of the Constitution. The petition urged the court to quash the Punjab government’s move to grant serious cases.
