Imran Khan is being released this month!

Leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) hope that former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan can be released this month.

This information is known from the report of the Pakistani media Geo News about the senior leader of the party, Latif Khosa.

In a program called Naya Pakistan on Geo News on Sunday, he said, I am confirming that the founder of PTI (Imran Khan) will be released this April.

After Latif Khosa’s comments, PTI’s current chairman Barrister Gahar Ali Khan also made the same claim. However, he said without mentioning any specific date, Imran Khan will be released soon.

In response to a question whether Imran Khan is being released as part of any compromise, Latif Khosa said that it is wrong to think that Imran Khan is being released as part of any compromise. The former prime minister does not believe in revenge politics, he only wants to protect the country’s constitutional supremacy.

Earlier this month, the Islamabad High Court stayed the 14-year prison sentence in the Toshakhana case against Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi. At the same time, he fixed the date of hearing of this case after Eid.

However, Imran Khan is still imprisoned in the Toshakhana case despite the suspension of his prison sentence. Because, he is still incarcerated due to the conviction and arrest warrant against him in the Cipher case, another Toshakhana case and the terrorist case.

Among the cases against Imran Khan, Khosa said about the Saifar case and the Iddat case, they are not really washed away.

He said, in the Cipher case, the court has already observed the alleged ‘where is the Cipher’. And the Iddat case is a shameful thing.
