Imprisoned former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed interest in dialogue with the country’s military. He also called for appointing a representative from the army for the discussion.

The Express Tribune of Pakistan reported in a report on Tuesday that some journalists had informal talks with Imran Khan in the court inside the prison. He expressed his interest in dialogue with the army to those journalists.

Imran also told reporters that he never blamed the army. Just criticized them. He also compared the army with the ‘naughty boy’ of the house. He says, the way a naughty boy is criticized; He similarly criticized the army. And criticism is an essential part of democracy.

However, he also said that no one can say that the army is not above mistakes. He also said that former army chief and president General Ziaul Haque hanged former prime minister Benazir Bhutto. Besides, Bangladesh became a separate independent state after being separated from Pakistan due to Yahya Khan. Imran claims that when there is any injustice by the army; You can’t keep quiet then.

Imran was arrested on May 9 last year. At that time, his supporters got excited and launched massive attacks on various infrastructures of the army. The army blamed Imran for the attack. Imran was asked to apologize for the May 9 clash, but he never did. He also said that he will not hold any kind of dialogue with the army. But now he has changed his position.
