Imran Khan's warning to Army Chief Asim Munir

Former Prime Minister and founder of Tehreek-e-Insaf Party (PTI) Imran Khan has warned Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir about his wife Bushra Bibi. said, army chief Asim Munir is directly responsible for the imprisonment of his wife Bushra Bibi.

49-year-old Bushra Bibi has been accused in corruption and ‘illegal’ marriage case with Imran Khan. He is currently under house arrest at Bani Gala, the residence of Imran Khan in the capital Islamabad.

Meanwhile, Imran Khan, accused in multiple cases, is in Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi. Imran Khan recently spoke to reporters in Adiala Jail on various issues, his party PTI said in an X message on Wednesday (April 17).

X message says, General Asim Munir is directly involved in accusing my wife. (Allah forbid) I will not leave Asim Munir if there is any harm to my wife. As long as I live, I will not leave him behind. I will expose all his unconstitutional and illegal activities.

Imran Khan also said that the law of the jungle is going on in the country and everything is being done as per the words of the ‘king of the jungle’. “All the cases of Nawaz Sharif are waived if the king of the jungle wants it. And we were punished in three cases in five days.

Regarding the ongoing economic crisis in Pakistan, the PTI leader said that the economy will be stabilized through investment and not through loans from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

He said, ‘There will be no investment in the country due to the law of the jungle. It is good that Saudi Arabia is coming. But investment will come only if there is rule of law in the country.

On January 31 this year, Imran Khan and his wife were sentenced to imprisonment by the special anti-corruption court in Islamabad in the Toshakhana corruption case. In addition to the prison sentence, the court also disqualified Imran Khan and his wife from holding any public office for the next 10 years.

Along with that, the court also ordered to pay a fine of about 79 million Pakistani rupees. Recently (April 1) the Islamabad High Court suspended the sentence of Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in the Toshakhana corruption case.

On February 1, just days before the national elections, another court sentenced the two to seven more years in prison in a case related to the marriage of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi. Prior to these two cases, Imran Khan and his government’s foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi were sentenced to 10 years in jail in the Saifar case.
