In Jammu and Kashmir, the bus of pilgrims was shot, 42 were injured in the ditch

A moving bus of pilgrims was fired upon in India’s Jammu and Kashmir. In this, the bus lost control and fell into the ditch, 42 people were injured.

The shooting incident took place in the bus of pilgrims returning from a temple in Reasi district of the state on Sunday. District Magistrate Special Mahajan said that so far 9 people have died and 33 people have been injured in this incident.

According to local and police sources, the bus of pilgrims was going to Katra from Shivkhori temple. That’s when the Jammu and Kashmir freedom fighters opened fire on the bus. As the driver of the bus lost control, it fell into a ditch. This caused the casualty. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot.

The police said that the rescue operation has started in this incident. The number of casualties may rise.
