Modi's expectation of victory in 400 seats, Mamata's sarcasm

BJP will win 400 seats in India’s 18th Lok Sabha elections.

This is what Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed during the last-minute election campaign on Tuesday (April 16). However, Trinamool leader Mamata Banerjee countered that more than 2000 seats will not be won by BJP.

Just one more day. After that, the first phase of voting for India’s 18th Lok Sabha elections will begin. Heavyweight candidates are busy attacking each other in last-minute campaigning.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a party election meeting at Balurghat on Tuesday. He said, it will be seen after the announcement of election results on June 4, BJP will win in 400 seats.

Apart from promising to implement the Citizenship Amendment Act, this BJP leader criticized Mamata.

However, Trinamool Congress leader Mamata too is not behind in the war of words. Predicting such speech of Modi, he said that BJP will not get even 20 seats. And CAA will not be allowed to be implemented in any way.

On April 19, polling will be held in 102 constituencies in 21 states of India in the first phase. Two thousand candidates will compete on that day. This year, 2,660 registered political parties will fight the election battle in the country. And about 97 crore voters will vote.
