MP Anar was called to Sanjeeva Bhavan for this purpose. Blood found in the flat will be tested for DNA. DNA reports can be used as evidence even if the body is ultimately not found. Meanwhile, a team of three members of DB is going to India today to investigate the incident.
After entering the luxurious duplex building of Sanjeeva Bhavan, the killers took 10 thousand rupees from Anar’s pocket. They gave MP Anar a call to his friend Gopal and fetched 4 lakh 20 thousand rupees. Anwarul Azim Anar is suspicious of their activities. Looking for a way out from there. The killers prevented the matter from happening. At that time, there was a fight between them. At one point, hired killers applied anesthetic to MP Anar’s face. He lost consciousness. In this condition, his nude photo was taken. The killers thought that after the MP regained consciousness, they would blackmail him by showing those pictures. But as he did not regain consciousness for a long time, he was first killed by pressing a pillow. Then he started thinking about missing the body. Since the first plan failed, they gave utmost importance to the disappearance of the body. As part of this, the carcass is dismembered to separate the bones, flesh and skin. After that, when the news of MP Anna’s murder came out, the uproar started. The search for the body began. But the body of Anwarul Azim Anar was not found till May 25. Two mobile phones used by Anar were not recovered. However, new sensational information is coming out in the investigation.
According to DB sources, the killers could not collect a large sum of money from MP Anar through blackmailing due to lack of knowledge. Still they collected Rs.430,000. They called Gopal asking for money with Anar. Gopal sent the money to the killers through his manager.
Sources also said that the main coordinator, Aktaruzzaman Shaheen, used an Indian SIM number for various activities ranging from car rental to carrying out the assassination mission. The police of both countries quickly identified all the murderers on the basis of this SIM. Stating that it is not possible to verify many facts as Shaheen has gone to the United States, the detectives said that efforts will be made to bring Shaheen back to the country from the United States through Interpol. But this will take some time. They said that the blood collected from that house in Sanjiba Garden will be tested for DNA. In this case, even if the body is not found, the case can be proved.
Meanwhile, a team of three members of DB will leave for India on Sunday to investigate the incident. The investigation team is scheduled to leave the country on an 8 am flight from Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) International Airport. DMP Additional Commissioner (Investigation) Mohammad Haroon Or Rashid will lead the DB team. The other two members of the team are Deputy Commissioner of DB Wari Division. A. Ahad and Additional Deputy Commissioner. Shahidur Rahman. Earlier, a team of four members of the Indian police came to Bangladesh and interrogated the accused in several rounds.
MP Annar went to India on May 12. He stayed at the house of his friend Gopal Biswas in Mandalpara near Barrackpore, Kolkata. On May 13, Annar left home after talking about treatment. Later, MP Annar was murdered in a flat in Sanjiba Garden, New Town area, near Dum Dum Airport, Kolkata. The house was rented by the killers for 11 months. The incident of MP murder came to light on May 22. On the same day, Anar’s daughter Mumtarin Ferdous Doreen (24) filed a kidnapping case against the unknown accused at the Sherebangla Nagar police station in the capital. Besides, there is a case of murder in India.
The police of Bangladesh and India have so far found the involvement of eight people in the murder. Three of them have been arrested by the DB police. They are extremist leader Shimul Bhuiyan alias Amanullah Aman, his cousin Tanveer Bhuiyan and Shaheen’s girlfriend Celesti Rahman. They are remanded in DB. The court granted their remand on Friday. Apart from this, the police of India are conducting raids on another accused Jihad Howladar alias Butcher Jihad, who was arrested by the Kolkata Police. Four others are absconding. Among them are Siam in Nepal, Shaheen in the United States and Mostafiz and Faisal in Bangladesh.
Sources related to DB’s investigation say that the absconding accused, Mostafiz and Faisal, who directly participated in the murder, are in Bangladesh. Now they are trying to escape from Bangladesh by changing their appearance. MP Anar’s two mobile phones have not been recovered yet. According to DB, the phones are with Mustafiz and Faisal.
DMP Additional Commissioner (Investigation) Mohammad Haroon Or Rasheed told reporters in the conference room of the DB office on Minto Road in the capital on Saturday, “We are analyzing the technical issues along with the interrogation of the arrested accused. As far as we know, two groups are involved in the murder. One is the support group and the other is the implementation group. Aktaruzzaman Shaheen is the mastermind of Madadata Group. Shaheen went to Kolkata on April 30 with a team of three members including a girl. In this team, the main person of the assassination execution group was Shimul Bhuiyan (Amanullah), the leader of the East Bengal Communist Party. Who will do what there, who will rent a car, who will stay in the car, Shimul Bhuiyan, the head of the force, will fix everything.
Intelligence officer Mohammad Haroon Or Rashid said, after going home, the plan was not to kill them first. In the beginning, he will scare her like a honey trap, take nude pictures, blackmail him with these pictures for two days. MP will collect as much money as possible from friends in India and Bangladesh through hundi. When the money is collected, they will be killed. A portion of the seized money will be given to those who commit the murders. But at one stage of the scuffle in the Sanjiba Garden flat, chloroform (anesthetic) was given to the mouth of the MP. When they became unconscious, they took nude photos of the MP.

That’s why they took MP’s mobile phones near Benapole border and called MP Anar’s opposition party. Their intention was to call and say ‘end’. Haroon Or Rashid said, the arrested Shimul Bhuiyan has given us a lot of sensational information. In view of that we will go to India with a team. He said that they had tried to kill the Member of Parliament Anwarul Azim Anar twice before and failed. The first time their plan was to kill in Bangladesh before the last election. For the second time, their plan was last January 17-18. Both MP Annar and this gang were in Kolkata at that time. But that plan was not implemented as the MP was in the hotel. The plan has been implemented in the third phase.

There may be animosity, there may be financial issues, there may be political issues. 4-5 leaders of East Bengal Communist Party who carried out the murder.
