Neighbor Countries Should Not Create Problems for Traders: Kabir

Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, in a meeting with a number of dry fruit traders, urged the neighboring countries not to create obstacles in the way of bilateral trade.

Hamdullah Fitrat, the Deputy Spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, said that the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs also called on the neighboring countries to stop creating issues for Afghan traders and to provide the necessary facilities for the growth of bilateral trade.

The Deputy Spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate said: "The Political Deputy of the Prime Minister said that the neighboring countries should refrain from creating problems for Afghan traders and provide the necessary facilities for bilateral trade."

Meanwhile, Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai, the Political Deputy of the Foreign Ministry, in a meeting in Logar, said that Afghanistan is a transit connection route between Pakistan and Central Asia and can act reciprocally.

Stanikzai called on the government of Pakistan to open its crossings for Afghan export goods to prevent further harm to traders and farmers on both sides.

The Political Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, in a meeting to review the challenges of fresh fruit and vegetable exporters in Logar, said: "Afghanistan is a transit route between Pakistan and Central Asia. We can also react reciprocally, close the borders, and create problems for them, but we do not want to create issues for our Pakistani brothers living on the other side of the border."

In another part of his speech during this meeting, Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai, referring to the collection of taxes, Zakat, and Ushr by the Islamic Emirate, said that the collected revenues are used for the development and progress of the country.

The Political Deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs added: "Every Afghan penny that is paid to the government under the name of taxes, Zakat, and Usher is not wasted."

Officials at this meeting highlighted the importance of electricity production within the country and mentioned that the Islamic Emirate, by launching major projects in three regions of Afghanistan, aims to provide electricity to various parts of the country within two to three years.
