New government in Pakistan will last 5 to 6 months: Imran Khan

Imprisoned former Pakistan Prime Minister and Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan said the new government would not last more than five to six months. That is why the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) did not join the cabinet.

The former prime minister said these things while talking to reporters at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi on Wednesday.

Terming the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja as a ‘liar’, he said that the CEC is still performing its duties despite the publication of five reports of election observers on irregularities in the elections.

Imran Khan, predicting the economic situation of Pakistan, claimed that a new wave of inflation will hit Pakistan after signing a new bailout package with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

At this time, Imran said that his party will invite all the political parties who have been rigged in the elections to the upcoming public meeting of PTI to be held on March 23.
