India’s Lok Sabha elections will begin on April 19, which will end on June 19. Regarding the elections of the world’s largest democratic country, Stephen Dujarric, the spokesperson of UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, said that they hope that there will be a free and fair election in India. And everyone can vote in the election.

Regarding the comments of the UN official, the Indian foreign minister said, “The UN does not need to say that our elections should be free and fair.” I have people from India. The people of India will ensure that the elections are free and fair. So don’t worry about it.’

Dujarric was asked last week about the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the seizure of opposition leaders’ bank accounts ahead of India’s Lok Sabha elections.
