No talks with India to open bilateral trade: Pakistan
Pakistan’s foreign ministry said there are no talks between India and Pakistan to resume bilateral trade.
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said these things at the weekly press briefing on Friday.
Cited India’s illegal and unilateral actions in India’s illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) in 2019 as the reason for the suspension of bilateral trade.
Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said, Baloch recalled that several measures, including suspension of trade, were taken after the Indian government abrogated Article 370 of its constitution on August 5, 2019, illegally annexing IIOJK.
He also said that this situation is continuing.
The main objective of observing the day is to unmask Indian atrocities and show solidarity with the people of Occupied Kashmir. Condemning the killing of four Kashmiri youth by the Indian occupation forces in Doda district, the spokesman said this brutal attack is another big example of India’s illegal and oppressive actions against the Kashmiri people.
He urged the international community to take immediate and decisive action to hold India accountable for human rights violations in IIOJK and to take steps to protect the rights and freedoms of the Kashmiri people.
Urges to refrain from unprovoked actions On border violations in Kabul, the Foreign Ministry spokesperson urged the interim Afghan government to exercise restraint and refrain from unprovoked actions along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. He was replying to a question about recent clashes between border forces of Pakistan and Afghanistan near the Torkham border crossing and increasing incidents of cross-border firing.
