Two special flights will bring back 348 more students stranded in Kyrgyzstan, Dawn News reported.

A spokesman for the state-owned Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) said the national flag carrier has operated eight special flights in the last four days to bring more than a thousand students back to their country. More than three hundred students are waiting to return home. Very soon they will reach the soil of the country.

The PIA spokesperson added that we have two more special flights included for Bishkek. One flight will depart from Lahore at midnight on Friday and the other from Islamabad at 8 am on Saturday. Another 348 students will return home on these two flights.

On May 13, some Egyptian medical students clashed with a group of Kyrgyz citizens. Due to that incident, local residents attacked the foreign medical students staying in different hostels of Bishkek on the night of May 17. Even the students' private residences were attacked. Bangladeshis, Pakistanis and Indians are also among those students.

According to Indian media reports, 9 to 15 thousand Indian students are studying in Kyrgyzstan's medical colleges. And the number of Pakistani students is more than 11 thousand. On the other hand, there are about 1,000 Bangladeshi students in the country's public and private medical colleges.
