Pakistan has reduced the price of petrol on the occasion of Eid

Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has announced to reduce the price of petrol by Rs. 10.20 per liter on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. The announcement was made by the Prime Minister’s Office on Friday to provide some relief to the inflation-ravaged public.

Federal Information Minister Ataullah Tarar confirmed the new price of petrol and said that the new price of petrol will be effective from midnight on Saturday (June 15). Jio TV news.

An official statement published by the Prime Minister’s Office said that the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs 268.36 to Rs 258.16 by Rs 10.20. And the price of high speed diesel has also been reduced by Tk 2.33 per liter to Tk 267.89, which was Tk 270.22 per litre.

Later the Pakistan Finance Department issued an official notification regarding the latest price reduction. It said that the oil and gas regulatory authority has fixed the consumer price based on price variation in the international market.

Finance Department of Pakistan usually reviews fuel prices every 15 days. As part of this, the new prices come into effect from Saturday.
