Pakistan is eyeing Modi

India’s 18th parliamentary election results will be announced today after the counting of votes. Counting will begin in 542 Lok Sabha constituencies from 8 am today after polling for nearly two and a half months in seven phases. As there was no opposition candidate, the BJP candidate won the Surat Lok Sabha seat in Gujarat unopposed before the polls. Depending on the speed of counting, it will be clear by afternoon which alliance is coming to power. It will be clear whether BJP alliance NDA will return to power for the third time under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi or the fortunes of Congress alliance ‘India’ will return.

However, according to exit polls of various organizations in India, the Modi government is returning to power for the third time. Although the former president of Congress Sonia Gandhi has claimed in Delhi on Monday, “Exactly the opposite of what the exit polls are demanding, the India Alliance is coming to power.” The BJP’s top echelons have also begun to work hard on it. On the other hand, various exit polls have indicated that the result of the ruling Trinamool Congress in West Bengal will be worse than the 2019 Lok Sabha polls. It has been claimed that BJP alone can win 24-28 seats out of 42 seats in West Bengal. Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress could get 14 to 18 seats, while the Left-Congress alliance could get 1-3 seats, the survey said. Although Mamata herself claimed, the survey claims that the Trinamool alone would get 30-34 seats proved wrong. Counting of votes in 55 centers for 42 constituencies in West Bengal will begin from 8 am.

The counting will continue under the supervision of the central forces, the Central Election Commission will also directly monitor. There will be no error in the counting of votes, Chief Election Commissioner Rajeev Kumar assured in a press conference on Monday, the day before the Lok Sabha election results were announced. We are very confident that we will not see any post-poll and post-result violence. He said, we have taken strong steps regarding the counting process. As you know, hundreds of thousands of people will be present during the counting and at the counting center. Also, our process is very robust, I can assure you.

Rajeev Kumar also said that more than 31 crore women have voted this time. 64 crore votes have been cast. Jokingly, he said, the missing gentlemen have now turned to the booth. Overall, three election commissioners sitting side by side before announcing the results of the polls said that this polling session has been completed successfully. Rajeev says that everyone remembers and appreciates the beauty of flowers. But who keeps looking for the gardener?

While campaigning for the Lok Sabha polls, Home Minister Amit Shah boasted in various public meetings, “Pakistan Occupied Kashmir will be rescued after winning the polls.” Besides, Pakistan will be given a befitting reply if the poison of terrorism spreads in India. In such a complex context, Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif is going on a visit to China today, the day the election results of neighboring countries are announced.

According to Indian diplomatic analysts, Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif is turning to ‘friendly’ China to counter Modi-led India post-Lok Sabha elections. So Shahbaz will meet Chinese President Xi Jinping on the day of India’s election results. In this situation, the two countries can discuss new strategies to put India in trouble. It should be noted that in 2013, China started the ‘China-Pakistan Economic Corridor’ project to build infrastructure in Pakistan. A road under that project passed through Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. And India strongly objects to that. From Defense Minister Rajnath Singh to External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, they have repeatedly sounded the alarm about this ‘controversial’ project of China. Delhi is determined to wrest away Pakistan Occupied Kashmir from the ‘enemy’ country. Besides, before the voting started in India, the country’s defense minister Rajnath Singh had vowed, “If you come to disturb the country, I will enter the house and kill you.” Terrorists will not be able to go to Pakistan.

The history of Indian democracy shows that election polls do not always match the polls, and vice versa. In 2005 BJP was coming to power under the leadership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee as ‘India Shining’ but the result was opposite. Manmohan Singh’s government won. Again, there are many examples of the predictions of Boothferat survey matching. Many believe that such surveys provide a glimpse into the mind of the electorate. However, similar to the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha polls, most of India’s poll surveys say that the NDA alliance led by Modi is going to form the government in Delhi again.

The Boothferat survey itself indicates that the BJP may make progress in South India as well as retaining land in North and West India. Even in Karnataka, which it won a year ago, and Telangana, which it won six months ago, the Congress may fail to retain public support. This is the first time that most polls have predicted that the BJP will win the seat in Kerala alone. In the neighboring state of Tamil Nadu, it is claimed that Modi can win multiple seats without the help of two big parties, DMK and ADMK.

The exit poll claims that the BJP can surprise even if it contests the Lok Sabha polls alone for the first time in Punjab. However, while ABP News-C voters did not predict the BJP-led alliance to win 400 seats, India Today-Axis My India and News 24-Today Chanakya’s Boothferat survey gave the BJP-led alliance a message of ‘pass 400’. ABP News-C Voter Forecast, NDA 353-383, ‘India’ 152-182 and others likely to win 4-12 Lok Sabha seats. News 24- According to Today’s Chanakya, NDA is likely to win 400, ‘India’ 107 and others 36 Lok Sabha seats.
