But when Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s party won a clear majority, the army rigged by-elections in which Yahya Khan wanted to become president. And through this, 80 seats of Awami League were taken away.
Quoting Imran Khan, Barrister Raja also said, ‘I would like to remind the report of the Hamudur Rahman Commission, we are going to repeat the same mistakes we did in the past. Even in 1970 there was the London Plan and today again through the London Plan the government has been imposed (on the people).’
He said that Imran Khan has repeatedly indicated that he is ready to talk to the military. He (Imran) claims that this will be the best step in the interest of the country.
