Passenger bus overturned in Karachi, killed 7

A passenger bus lost control and overturned in Karachi, Pakistan. The accident took place near Gate No. 6 of Mauripur near Mama Godam of the province on Sunday.

Local officials said that 7 people including women and children died and 12 others were injured in the accident.

The rescuers immediately rescued the injured and provided treatment and the bodies were recovered and sent to the civil hospital morgue for further legal proceedings, they said.

Earlier, five people, including a woman, died in a collision between an ambulance and an oil tanker late on Friday in Rawalpindi.

6 people were killed and 7 injured in a jeep accident in Liran village of Abbottabad on May 23. The victims were returning from a trip after purchasing some goods from Kalyan market in Azad Kashmir. Then their car fell into a deep ditch.

Earlier on the night of April 11, the devotees met with an accident while going to the Shah Noorani shrine near Hub. At least 11 people were killed and more than 30 people were injured. Source: The Express Tribune
