Petition to remove Kejriwal as Chief Minister rejected

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in an excise corruption case. He is handling the responsibility of Chief Minister from jail.

A case was filed in the Delhi High Court seeking Kejriwal’s removal from the post of Chief Minister. A bench headed by Acting Chief Justice Manmohan of the Delhi High Court dismissed the case on Thursday. The court dismissed the case of the same application for the third time.
Acting Chief Justice dismissed this case and commented that whether he will remain Chief Minister or not is his matter. Let democracy take its course.

The case was filed by Vishnu Gupta, president of an organization called Hindu Sena.

On March 21, the ED conducted a search operation at the residence of the Chief Minister of Delhi in connection with the excise case. They arrested him the following night.

According to ED sources, investigating officers found Rs 70,000 after searching the Chief Minister’s house. However, the money was not confiscated. However, four phones were seized. Which includes Kejriwal’s personal mobile. ED has also contacted Apple to unlock the mobile.
