PTI's 'invitation' to Jaishankar in anti-government protests, heated debate

Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar will attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting in Pakistan. Before that visit, the internal politics of Pakistan suddenly started a controversy about Jaishankar.

The leader of Imran’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) interrupted the debate by asking S. Jaishankar to join anti-government protests in Pakistan.

PTI leader and Chief Advisor to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mohammad Ali Saif said that Jaishankar is being invited to join their protest. Let him give a speech. After that comment, Imran’s party faced the wrath of Pakistan’s ruling party.

Pakistan’s ruling party has also attacked the comments made by Saif, Chief Advisor to the Chief Minister of Pakhtunkhwa, as extremely irresponsible. To deal with such a situation, even if you justify your comments, what happens is done.

PTI will invite Jaishankar to join our protest, said Chief Advisor to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Geo News of Pakistan last Friday. See that Pakistan’s democracy is strong. Where everyone has the right to protest.

This comment started a fierce debate in Pakistan. Pakistan’s Information Minister and leader of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz Shibir) Ataullah Tara alleged that Saif’s comments were “completely irresponsible”. Through that comment, the attitude of ‘hostility towards Pakistan’ has emerged.

At the same time, Sindh Pradesh Information Minister and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Sarjeel Memon said, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is inviting Jaishankar today. Tomorrow they will call the Prime Minister of Israel. It is anti-Pakistan act.

He also alleged that PTI is planning to disrupt the meeting of Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

The Indian Foreign Minister did not comment on those controversies.

According to concerned quarters, New Delhi has nothing to say here. It is all an internal matter of Pakistan. Their own political struggle. India will not turn a blind eye to it unnecessarily. Rather, the foreign minister’s focus will be on Jaishankar’s visit to Pakistan.

Jaishankar will attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting in Pakistan on October 15-16.

He said, since I am modest and polite, I will behave like that.

He is not going there to discuss India-Pakistan relations. Jaishankar said that he is going to Pakistan as a responsible member of Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
