The BJP minister gave the good news of the widow

Subhas Phal Desai, Public Welfare Minister of the BJP government of Goa state of India, gave good news for the widows. He announced to give a monthly pension of 4000 taka to the widowed widows to raise children and overcome their helpless situation.

The minister said that children of widows who are below 21 years of age will get a pension of Rs 4,000 per month. In BJP-ruled Goa, the social welfare minister said that if a widow applies for pension, she will not be denied the opportunity of the ‘Griha Aadhaar’ scheme.

At present, widowed women aged 40 to 79 in Goa, India receive a monthly pension of Rs 2,500 from the Social Welfare Minister. But to get it they have to be deprived of the benefit of ‘griha aadhaar’. However, according to the new announcement of the Goa government, this time widows will not be deprived of the benefits of ‘Griha Aadhaar’ to get pension.

According to the new Goa government rules, a widow can apply for a widow’s pension of Rs 2,500 there, directly to the social welfare department. If she has children, the widow will also get the additional benefit of ‘Griha Aadhaar’ until the child reaches the age of 21 years. He will get a pension of 4 thousand taka per month.

Also a fresh, verification phase will begin for the Atal Asara Yojana in Goa. Subhash Desai says that he has allocated 20 crore rupees for the current financial year. In the current year they have received applications under this scheme. For that, a new verification phase will begin.
