Narendra Modi has formed a new government in less than a month. In the meantime, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav spoke about the collapse of the government. Not only that, he also gave a glimpse of the fall of the Modi government within a few days.
The BJP-led NDA came to power with a majority in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections. However, BJP did not get the expected result in this election. In the election campaign, starting from Modi, the BJP leadership claimed that this time alone they will get more than 370 seats. But in reality it did not happen. BJP has to stop in 240 seats. NDA has managed to cross the magic number of government formation by combining the number of seats of other partners.
Less than a month into the formation of the new government, Lalu claimed that the Modi-led government is “very weak”.
“I appeal to all party workers to be ready,” Lalu said while addressing party workers and supporters at the Rashtriya Janata Dal’s foundation anniversary rally in Bihar’s capital Patna on Friday (July 5). Because there can be another election at any time. Modi government’s position in Delhi is very weak. The government may fall by August.”
After being released from jail on parole, RJD won four seats in Bihar in the Lok Sabha elections with sworn ‘Khalistani’ Amritpal, ‘Kashmiri militant’ Rashid as a member of Parliament.
It should be noted that Lalu’s party is one of the partners of the anti-BJP alliance ‘India’. RJD fought in Bihar by agreeing seats with Congress. According to many, RJD too did not perform as expected. Lalu’s son Tejaswi Yadav said the party’s performance in the polls has been reviewed. He gave a message to fight more unitedly in the coming days.
