The government may collapse in Pakistan in the next three months, indicates the PPP leader

The government of Pakistan may collapse within the next three months. Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Manzoor Wasan gave such a hint while talking to journalists in Pakistan’s Khairpur on Sunday. He said that the next three months are very important for Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif in the political background of the country. He can dissolve the National Assembly within the next three months.

Wasan is well known for his bold predictions about the South Asian country’s politics. Wasan said that in the current political situation of the country, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Nawaz Sharif is unlikely to become the next prime minister.

Besides, Manzoor Wasan does not see any favorable situation for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan or other politicians. They were released and taken back, he said. So Imran Khan should not live in fantasy world.

General elections were held in Pakistan in February this year. As no party got a single majority in that election, PML-N formed an alliance with PPP to form the government. However, PPP is currently at loggerheads with PML-N over the upcoming budget. Wasan gave this glimpse in such a situation. Recently senior PPP leader Khurshid Shah said that the government has not told us anything about the budget.

We don’t know what PML-N is doing with privatization policies, taxes, development programs. He also said, PPP knows nothing about the relief. He also mentioned that he does not know whether the government is preparing the budget or the budget imposed by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
