At least four hospitals in India’s capital, Delhi, received email bomb threats. The hospital authorities informed the police about this email on Tuesday morning.

The four hospitals that have received threats are: Delhi State Cancer Institute near GTB Hospital, Dada Dev Hospital in Dabri, Hedgewar Hospital and Deep Chand Bandhu Hospital.

It is said from Delhi Fire Department, bomb squad has conducted a search operation in these four hospital premises. They also had trained dogs with them. Fire engines and ambulances are kept ready in front of every hospital.

Just two weeks ago, there was panic over the threat of bomb attacks in several schools in Delhi and other major cities of India.

According to NDTV, around 100 schools in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) reported receiving emails containing bomb threats on May 1. After receiving the email, the school administration and parents panicked.

Then on May 6, an email was sent to six schools in Ahmedabad threatening to attack them. An official said that the emails were sent from a server with a Russian IP address.

Last Sunday, similar emails were sent to several addresses, including Delhi Airport and several major hospitals, threatening to attack. It later turned out that they were fake threats.
