Three students died after flood water entered the coaching center in Delhi

Three students died after being trapped in water in the basement of a coaching center in Delhi, India. They were stuck in the popular coaching center in West Delhi for more than four hours, according to a report of NDTV on Sunday.

In the video of the incident in Rajendra Nagar, the basement of Rau’s IAS study circle was completely flooded.

Fire service officials said they received a call at 7.19 pm on Saturday about students trapped in the basement. Five units were immediately dispatched to assist in their rescue.

The bodies of the two female students were recovered a few hours after the rescue operation began. Later in the night, the body of a student was recovered.

Delhi Deputy Police Commissioner M Harshvardhan said, ‘The body has been sent to the hospital for further legal action. Rescue operations are still underway. Water is being extracted. There is still about 7 feet of water in the basement.

Delhi Fire Service chief Atul Garg said that rescue operations are underway on the assumption that someone may be trapped in the basement.
