What Maulana Fazlur Rahman said about contact with Imran's party

Maulana Fazlur Rahman, Pakistan’s influential politician and head of Jamiat Ulamae Islam, has said that his party is not in contact with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

He said this to the journalist on Wednesday.

Maulana Fazlur Rahman said that the current government is not in a stable state to stay in power for a long time. This government was formed after the results were determined, which we do not accept.

He said that the government will fall if the people give their opinion.

He further said that in our opinion it is clear that the recently held elections were heavily rigged.

Earlier, Maulana Fazlur Rahman, head of Jamiat Ulamae Islam, met the Chinese ambassador in Islamabad.

It may be noted that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) have adopted various strategies to convince Maulana Fazlur Rahman to join the alliance since the recently held elections in Pakistan. Delegations of PML-N and PPP leaders visited his residence several times for this purpose.

Even after meeting PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif, Maulana could not calm down. In the end, his party did not even vote in the prime ministerial election.
