After taking oath as the Prime Minister for the third term, Narendra Modi distributed the Cabinet offices. The new cabinet did not change much in the major ministries.

Amit Shah will handle the responsibility of Home Minister this time too. The defense ministry is also in the hands of Rajnath Singh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi once again trusted S. Jaishankar as the foreign minister.

There has been no change in the position of the finance minister of the country. Nirmala Sitharaman will handle the finance ministry in the new government. As before, Nitin Gadkari will handle the responsibility of the Ministry of Road Transport.

Bihar Lok Jan Shakti Dal (Ram Vilas) president Chirag Paswan has been given the charge of youth and sports ministry as a coalition partner. Actor-turned-politician Chirag Paswan (41) has been appointed as a full-fledged minister in the central government of India for the first time.

BJP president JP Nadda will handle the health ministry. Ajay Tamta and Harsh Malhotra will serve as state ministers here. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has been given charge of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Ministry.

Gajendra Singh Shekhawat became the Minister of Tourism, Ashwini Vaishna became the Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu became the Minister of Civil Aviation, Dharmendra Pradhan became the Minister of Human Resource Development, Annapurna Devi became the Minister of Women and Child Development.

BJP leader Narendra Modi was sworn in as the Prime Minister of India for the third consecutive term in a grand ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi after Sunday evening.

This time, the BJP, which did not get a single majority in the Lok Sabha elections, had to form a coalition government. They had to give Cabinet posts to the NDA alliance partners.
