Zardari's talk with Erdogan

Pakistan’s newly appointed President Asif Ali Zardari spoke on the phone with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Bilateral issues were discussed between the two leaders on Sunday. This information was reported from the Press Wing of the President House of Pakistan.

According to reports, the two leaders discussed bilateral relations and issues related to the interests of both countries. Zardari emphasized on strengthening the relationship between the two countries in various fields.

President of Pakistan congratulated the President of Turkey and the people of that country. He invited Erdogan to visit Pakistan.

He wished the President of Turkey on the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.

Earlier, Pakistan’s new Prime Minister Shehzad Sharif said that Ankara and Islamabad need to work together. We have to work to meet the target of 5 billion dollars in annual trade.

Pakistan and Türkiye have been helping each other on basic issues. They are committed to continue this in the future as well.
