Nobel Peace Prize winning economist Dr. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Muhammad Yunus.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter) at 9:48 PM, Modi said, ‘My best wishes to Professor Muhammad Yunus on his new charge. We hope that the safety and security of Hindus and other minority communities will be restored soon.’
He further said, ‘India is committed to working with Bangladesh to fulfill the aspirations of the people of both our countries for peace, security and development.’
